Peru PILGRIMAGE TO PERU According to some myths: This is the essence of our Pilgrimage: Step 1. Purification & Healing Step 2. Opening up Wiracocha’s Seed This Pilgrimage is structured as a journey to some specific places in the world. The journey is explored as a pilgrimage, not to an outer place but to the often-forgotten inner place where our essential being awaits recognition and manifestation. Every step of the outer journey is utilized to travel into ourselves and to our own sacred place where we pay homage to the being we are. In the process, we shake ourselves out of our comfort zone in all possible ways so that we can revalue our connection with life and ourselves. We travel as a family, carrying only a basic minimum. We do have a direction in which to go, but we do not plan all the steps needed to get where we want. We move intuitively, a spontaneous intelligence guiding our steps. The whole process tremendously increases our being present to the moment in great aliveness, creatively and consciously responding to all the unpredictable situations. The challenges (there are many!) that such traveling provides stir up awareness, passion, and unexploited positive qualities and inner wisdom in us. This grounds us in our essence, at the source of consciousness, from where we can reshape our lives according to the principles of harmony being unlocked by our inner pilgrimage. Taray
Taray
In the beginning, all was darkness, and nothing existed.
Wiracocha rose from the waters of Lake Titikaka and created the land,
the Sun, the Moon and stars before returning to the lake.
He taught people kindness and the art of living in harmony with nature…
The story of Wiracocha is not just a myth but a profound spiritual teaching waiting to be explored.
To understand the Wiracocha’ Seed of Creation within us and learn how to nurture, sustain, and share its energy.
Healing Journey 10 days
To open up the Wiracocha’ Seed within us, we will first undergo a purification and healing journey in the Sacred Valley. We will go to the Wiracocha stone in the centre of Cusco and pray for healing. We will visit some powerful places around Cusco to purify our intentions. From there, we will go to Taray, an hour’s drive from Cusco. It is a strategic place as it is the start of the Sacred Valley. We will stay at the Ayllu Center, where our Medicine friend Alonso Del Rio will offer us ceremonies. In between the ceremonies, we will meet our beautiful healer, Vilma, for a Coca Leave reading, and our precious Tito la Rosa for a private healing sound ceremony.
Pilgrimage 12 days
After our purification and healing journey, we will embark on a pilgrimage to some of the main sacred sites of the Sacred Valley. We will start by sunbathing our Wiracocha’s Seed in the energetic Qonqorina site above Pisac. Then, we will water our Seed into the magical Lake Kinsa Cocha. Following Wirachocha’s footsteps will guide us to Urubamba, where we will stay at the Samana Wasi Centre. From there, we will visit a few sacred sites, such as Choquequilla, Inti Punku Sun Gate, Ollantaytambo, and Catarata Perolniyoc… On those sites, we will practice some meditation to root deeply our Wiracocha’ Seed and hopefully blossom it into a beautiful flower!
“This retreat calls up the vibrant fire of the spiritual traveler in us. We are travelers on this life journey, not fixed beings. We are in perpetual evolution; on a journey from one shore to another, exploring all the inner and outer mysterious aspects of life. We tend to forget about it, because of our sedentary materialistic lifestyle, favoring the outer world and denying the inner. This results in valuing things more than alive beings. It makes us shut down the part of ourselves that feels the alive connectedness between everything and everyone; the part we may call our sense of sacredness, of oneness, of unity… It is a kind of sleep we indulge in, without even noticing it, as it feels comfortable and safe. But there comes a moment, to every sane person, when an unpleasant, confusing dissatisfaction from deep within surfaces. This reminds us to reconnect with the reality of life’s beauty, which in our sleepy state we have totally denied. The Pilgrimage Retreat offers this precious connection back to us…”
